Project Mission
Students, parents, teachers of the North Dublin Muslim National School and members of our team came together as one unit, to help celebrate the fantastic individualities, the deep value and uniqueness of each and every person living in Europe and on the island of Ireland, as we celebrate its 50-year membership in the EU. Collectively, we reflect over the varying roles we play within our country; our political differences and traditions; our outfits and appearances and how our faiths differ, yet, we acknowledge and cherish that we are all human beings, living and loving within the same country's borders.
We truly cherish our personal individuality, distinct heritage and uniqueness as a nation within the European Union, and are thankful for being able to grow up in a peaceful country, avail of education for all, and enjoy the freedom of speech. We express our gratitude and respect equally for national individualities as a nation of EU nationalities, and we celebrate heart warm diversity and mutual respect.

Project VisionCelebrating and highlighting the value of international individuality and uniqueness, as well as focusing on Ireland's 50 year membership in the EU, was at the forefront of our third class student's choice of topics for our Communicating Europe Initiative 2023 publication.

Target Audience
|
We planned, wrote and assembled this publication with fellow European students in mind, taking in to account what it is like to grow up as a religious minority within the EU; the values put on preserving cultural heritage, individual languages and ancient traditions; the advantages and/or disadvantages when it comes to being born into a specific faith in a community that practises another. We discussed and observed a vast array of issues and subjects important to the Irish students of third year, North Dublin Muslim National School, challenging their critical thinking, pinpointing the changes they would like to see happen to strengthen their position in Europe as responsible, productive and active EU citizens.
