About Us

What can we say???

We are Bio Me and Bio You and everyone who

believes in Protecting, Nurturing and Sustaining our Planet

Picture
BioMeBioYou is a name we "created" to make it easier to address some of the BIG, BIGGER and BIGGEST questions so many people around the world are asking about ourselves, our Planet and Climate Change, 4IR, 5IR, Digital and Green Agendas, etc. The questions people ask are very often difficult to understand and even more difficult to answer, but we realize ONE important fact - Every answer that brings about positive, sustainable change lies with and within Me and You - BioMe-BioYou.  We already know the answers are inside us, but sadly, there are people in the world who just don't want to change!
How is this possible?
Most problems around Climate Change and Sustainable Development on planet Earth have been created by humans...Me and You.

Every human, big or small, is either a Me or a You, yes?
When 'Me' and 'You', humans...make changes to how we live and wish to live, it affects our Planet. Therefore, positive changes by humans have positive effects and negative changes have negative effects. Simple, really.
Well, simple to understand for most people but again there are many others who refuse to accept that we are the ones...humans...causing problems in the environment when we do silly things for example, like recklessly dumping our waste, plastic or rubbish:

No matter how small or how young you are, you have the power to "Shout Out loud" and make positive changes when you decide to 'help' Planet Earth. You might decide to draw a picture or write a poem or  Blog, take on a project at school, enter a competition or debate, or send a letter or email, text or message to the radio, local magazine or newspaper or upload a video to tell the world how you feel about  Planet Earth.

Everything you say and do is all about BioMe and BioYou.
You have the Power!

And...should anyone tell you, that you are just a child and too small to understand...just politely say, that Planet Earth is also YOUR home and what you have to say is important.

A little bit about 'BioMe'

My name is Dr. Dáithí Ó Murchú.
I am 'Bio Me', a retired Principal Teacher, an author, an international consultant and advisor, an Honorary Consul, an extreme ultra-athlete and also a Chairperson of an all-Gaelic, elementary school. Above all else, I would like to think that I am a conscious and mindful human being who believes that Digital and Green can exist together with our loving care, to make Planet Earth a more sustainable and safer place to live.
Now then, with you, Yes  'BioYou' and so many other students and schools all over the world, I know we together can and will make a positive, sustainable difference on Planet Earth. I have had the privilege of running so many eXtreme Ultra races and travelling all over the world for many years in so, so many different and varied global environments. Planet Earth is truly magnificent and it needs our help now!

My personal website shows some of the places and races I have run.            At all times,  I have tried to leave these environments the same way I found them, unless I saw and felt there was a need to 'help' to make them safer, cleaner and more sustainable.
Sometimes that entailed collecting rubbish near a river, lake or forest, on a mountain, in the snow and ice, in the deserts and jungles, or cleaning up the plastic and rubbish that some people throw away without thinking. Other times it meant a lot more.

Something as simple as recycling at home, having your personal, reusable non-plastic cup with a lid or eco-drink bottle, and making sure that we do not waste food makes a huge sustainable difference. Treating all people as equals, being tolerant, kind, non-racist, inclusive and sharing what we have with others shows that we actually do care.
One person makes a BIG difference. Many people make a HUGE difference. Together we make the BIGGEST, positive changes and sustainable differences that 'help', protect and nurture Planet Earth.

"We chose what we say, how we act and what we do, that is the mission of
BioMe and BioYou!"
