Ecosystem diversity deals with the variations in ecosystems within a geographical location and its overall impact on human existence and the environment. Ecological diversity is a type of biodiversity.
​It is the variation in the ecosystem found in a region or the variety in ecosystems over the whole planet.
Life in different forms exist in many and very different types of ecosystems such as: Deserts, Rain Forests, Tundra, Coral Reefs, Polar Caps, Mountain Ranges, Tropical Evergreen and Prairies
​to name but a few.
